Who we are

A founder-led exporter, built around your order.

Based in Cheeka, Haryana — in the heart of India's basmati belt — Virasat Internationals exists to give overseas buyers one accountable point of contact, from specification to shipment.

Virasat Basmati Rice being packed into branded 25kg export bags From mill to market

How we work

Virasat Internationals is a newly established Basmati and Non-Basmati rice export house. Rather than owning a mill, we work directly with APEDA-registered rice mills across Haryana and Punjab, personally overseeing sourcing, quality checks, packing and documentation for every order. That sourcing model is a deliberate choice: it keeps us close to the paddy, close to the miller, and close to your shipment, without the account-manager layers of a larger trading house.

Being newly established means we're not going to claim decades of history we don't have. What we do offer is direct founder involvement in every enquiry — the person who quotes your order is the same person who follows it through to loading — and the flexibility to work with buyers who want a responsive, hands-on supplier rather than a call centre.

Where we're based

Our home base of Cheeka sits in Kaithal district, Haryana, within one of India's core basmati-growing and processing regions. That proximity to paddy fields and rice mills shortens the distance between harvest and export, and keeps us close to the mills we source from for quality checks and specification changes. For more on what that looks like day to day, see our guide to basmati rice milling in Haryana.

What we export

Our range covers the major basmati varieties — 1121, 1509, 1718 and 1401 — across raw, steam, white sella and golden sella processing, alongside non-basmati varieties including Sugandha, Sharbati, PR 11, PR 14, Parmal and Sona Masoori. See the full product range for specifications and packing options on each variety. For background on the varieties themselves, see how Indian basmati compares to Pakistani basmati and why basmati rice is called "basmati".

Registered and compliant

Virasat Internationals holds an Import Export Code (IEC: DRQPA8117L), UDYAM (MSME) registration, and GST registration. Full details, including what each registration means for a buyer, are on our Certifications & Compliance page.

Working with a newly established exporter A smaller, newer exporter isn't a compromise on accountability — it's often the opposite. Your enquiry reaches a decision-maker directly, specification changes don't need to go through several layers of approval, and pricing reflects a leaner operation rather than a large overhead. If you'd like references, mill details or documentation before your first order, ask — we'd rather earn the relationship with transparency than with a claimed track record.
